🇬🇧 French Balcony Door

In Kaivoksela, Vantaa and on Fleminginkatu, Turku, the balcony door can function both as a regular door and a ventilation window.

When the handle is pointing to the right, the door opens like a regular door. When the handle is pointing upwards, the door opens from the top, tilting towards the apartment as a ventilation window. The door is closed when the handle points downwards.

If needed, lean against the window while pulling the handle down.
