Try the following if you experience issues with the Wi-Fi network:

  1. Check the connection and password:

    • Make sure you're trying to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network. Usually, the network name is HiisiHomes (apartment or room number), and make sure you enter the password correctly. The password has been sent, for example, in the arrival instructions.

  2. Restart your devices:

    • Turn off all devices connected to the Wi-Fi network.

    • Also, turn off the router and/or modem from the power switch. The modem is usually located at the TV stand, on top of the refrigerator, or in the fuse cabinet.

    • Wait a few minutes and start the router first, and then the devices.

  3. Check the status of the router and modem:

    • Check that the lights on the router and modem are lit normally. If any light is red or flashing abnormally, it could indicate a problem.

    • Check cables and connections:

    • Make sure all necessary cables are connected correctly and securely.

    • Try another device:

    • Try connecting another device to the Wi-Fi network, such as a phone or another computer. This can help you determine if the issue is with a specific device or the network in general.

  4. Contact guest services:

    • If none of the above steps help, contact guest services. They can create a maintenance request regarding the issue.
